Dubbo Goal

• Dubbo Gaol is open 7 days.
• The Gaol opens at 9.00am and closes at 5.00pm.
• Day tours are self-guided and take approximately one hour. Guided day tours can be arranged for group bookings.
• Pre - bookings are essential.
• Tours are subject to cancellation if insufficient bookings are received.
• Come face to face with the eight executed men.
• Listen to a ghost from the past tell the history of the Gaol.
• Watch an animated show about NSWs first Chief Executioner (“Nosey Bob”).
• Theatrical night tours are fully guided and take 1 to 1 ½ hours and include light refreshments.
• Holiday activities include guided day tours, children workshops and “warden talks” on a range of subjects such as the treatment of women in prison, the infirmary, executions and the gallows.
